Margarite stone carving.

Margarite 1

My first stone carving work.
I used what the carver called “Margarite”. It has similarities with Jade, as it’s green and transluscent.
Veins run through it, which are the matrix of Ruby.

The result is quite satisfying : the pendant is asymetric, it’s not too flashy from a distance,  but when you pay more attention the curves it offers are balanced and agreedable. Part of it is transuscent, but you can only see it if you take it off, I like this “hidden treasure” side of it.
